Maple & Heirloom Oat Cream Pie

We’re welcoming back last year’s newcomer to the OWL Thanksgiving Pie table!

Dreamed and coaxed into being by our beloved Renee, and cultivated along the way by the rest of the pastry team, this cream pie is comfort in the round. Creme Patissiere infused with toasted local Farm & Sparrow heirloom oat groats and maple syrup sits in an oatmeal cookie crumb crust. Delicately sweetened whipped cream with maple and cream cheese covers the top, and smoked sea salt candied walnuts grace the rim. It’s calm and cooling, unique for the holiday table, and will bring the grand meal home.
