We’ve been making Mince Pies since our wood-fired oven days at Jennifer Thomas’ place in Montford. A distinctly British pastry, ours is made with brown butter instead of the traditional suet. Rum-spiked fruits, apples, and pears, cooked with spices and double crusted with a star cutout.
