Our “Pumpkin” pie is lighter than the heavily spiced pie of tradition. The departure is subtle but we find it both delightful and welcome after a grand meal. We roast two varieties of locally grown heirloom winter squash and lightly scent the custard with ginger, coriander, and white pepper.
